Family Photoshoot at Sand Bay, Bristol - Grace, Matt and Ellie
After shooting with Grace and Ellie for a motherhood session in early March, I was overjoyed when she reached out again for their yearly family photos. It’s always such a compliment when other photographers hire you, and Grace and her family were just beyond wonderful to work with.
We ventured out on a moody, windy August evening and wandered round the beach, chatting, laughing, trying to stop Ellie eating sand. Your typical family photography antics. Grace even wrote me the most gorgeous review after I delivered the photos -
Our family session was anything but chilled, we had serious winds and a baby with sand in her eyes! But Aimee was an absolute angel, she kept us all calm and it didn't phase her at all. She got so many beautiful images and little moments we'll treasure forever. You can tell a lot about a photographer by how they manage the more chaotic sessions and Aimee took it in her stride! We adore our images and can't wait to plaster them all over the walls!
You can never anticipate what will happen on a family photoshoot! My sessions have always been, and will always be, completely child led. All the joy, all the wonderful chaos. We take it all and make magic regardless.
